June 4 jazz
The Nielsen Brothers Quartet originated here in Rexburg. Justin Nielsen, the oldest, is a professional jazz pianist and co-director / co-founder of Arts West, a private school in Boise for performing and visual arts. Ryan Nielsen is a professor at BYU–Idaho teaching trumpet, jazz studies, and music theory. Alex Nielsen is a software developer and technology consultant by day, playing the bass as a hobby. Eric Nielsen plays drums and is studying sound engineering.

June 11 jazz
Jazz Combos provide the opportunity to learn and cultivate traditional and contemporary jazz art skills. Groups specialize in styles such as bebop/swing, funk, Latin, Dixieland, etc.

June 18 indie pop
Elephant's Child is a local band with an awe inspiring fusion of sound featuring everything from drums to the cello. Jeff Smith is the main singer and composer.
Cary Judd has been traversing the continent for the last 5 years, performing in every type of venue from stadiums to house concerts. His live show coupled with his intuitive song writing never fail to leave an impression on audiences of all demographics.


June 25 classical
Opening is an up and coming pianist: Adam Gedeborg
BYU-Idaho Chamber Ensembles will come to perform. Each chamber ensemble rehearses both independently and with the personalized coaching of a faculty member. During alternating semesters, professional string quartets are brought to perform on campus and provide several days of instruction for these student chamber ensembles.

The Final Element Brothers Saegen and Sebastian Paget (guitar/vocals) met Jack Parker (drums) in a college physics course at BYU-Idaho. The band became official when Phil Hays (bass), a local resident of Rexburg, ID responded to a online post for a bass player.
The Gorgeous Hussies trio speaks to their audience the best way they know how: solid, melodically focused rock tunes, inspired arrangements, down-to-earth lyrics and clever live improvisation through a unique live performance.


July 16 classical
University Band is open to all students during winter and spring semesters. This ensemble enriches the musical experience of its members and consists of students from all disciplines who wish to continue their band experience while pursuing a degree program of choice. No audition is required.

July 23 various
Contestants from surrounding Junior Miss Competition will come perform their talents.

July 30 indie
Often compared to The Cure, Radiohead and Catherine Wheel, DulceSky brings their signature space-rock, in a melodic, modern rock package, that mixes the best of classic alternative music with progressive sonic experimentations.

August 6 acoustic
Debra Fotheringham's effortlessly melodic vocals, insightful lyrics, and uncommon skill on the guitar have caught national and global attention.
Dancers from all over the world are coming to Rexburg to perform at the International Dance Festival. While they are here, we want to give them a night to mingle known as "This is your night." Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the music and mingle as well.
